Hi, is it normal that the machine doesn't stop on it's own (after more than 6hours working) ? In the end the compost smells like roasted and it's quite hard and burned.
I did reset it but after the next round it was same outcome.
Hi Gabriela, thank you for reaching out. A cycle shouldn't be more than 6 hours it should be done by 4 to 6 hours maximum and the machine should stop on its own when its done with a cycle. The cycle time varies depending on the moisture of the waste. Eg Watermelon will release water as it's decomposing which will make the cycle longer. Also, be sure that the ending time is when it beeps 5 times and goes off, as standby mode (with the Clean and UV lights illuminated) might get confused with it still running. May you please run another cycle and send us a picture of the outcome so we can understand the burnt compost?
