Dear iCompost customers
We've found that some customers are not keeping their iCompost clean using Clean mode which results in dirt building up on a temperature sensor. Remember, that altough it is a composter, it is also an electronic appliance that needs to be taken care of the way you would any other kitchen appliance.
With the sensor thinking the air is cooler than it actually is, due to being covered with dirt, it keeps heating and heating. Some of these units heat too much and cause warping of the body.
Please remember to use Clean mode to avoid this problem. Insrtuctions for keeping it clean can be found on the Users Guide tab.
